Optime are excited to be recruiting Warehouse Operatives in partnership with DHL at Gatwick Airport. This job offers fantastic hours and overtime opportunities. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company and fantastic conditions and facilities.

What's on offer:

Rate of Pay: £12.52 per hour (plus Holiday and Pension)
Shifts: 2 x Days (6AM6PM) / 2 x Nights (6PM6AM) / 4 x OFF
Hours: 40 hours per week PLUS overtime paid at x
Shift Timing: Example times below
Staff parking
Weekly pay (Every Friday)
Temp to Perm (performance based)

12th March 202 2nd April 202 30th April 2024

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

To ensure that all tasks are carried out accurately and in line with current procedure.
Achievement & Measure of contract specific KPI's.
To ensure that any task carried out is completed within the boundaries of the current procedures and processes.
To work within the established standards of accuracy.
To ensure company Health & Safety policies are adhered to.
To work within the operating areas as determined by the management and needs of the business.
To ensure accurate and prompt information is passed to the Team Leader or Supervisor when requested.
To ensure that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained in all areas of the site.

Adhere to company and site policies, culture and values.

To undertake and implement any training provided by the company in relation to the development of the role, individual or operation.
Any other reasonable duties and tasks as required.
Support Back of House operations
Delivering/receiving retailer goods.
Warehouse experience.
Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions.
Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations.
Have appropriate hand, eye and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment.
Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations.
Due to the location of this warehouse a Driving Licence is preferred.
