ReAgent is a successful and well-established business to business chemical manufacturing company based in Runcorn.


The company is experiencing significant growth and we are now recruiting for a full time Finance Assistant, based at our site in Runcorn.


Finance Assistant - The Role:

This is an interesting and varied role and will involve all of the following tasks:

Purchase Ledger

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Reconcile supplier statements and HMRC import statements to the system
  • Handle credit card purchases and resolve any supplier queries promptly

Sales Ledger

  • Manage invoicing processes accurately and in a timely manner
  • Address customer queries related to invoices and payments

Banking

  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
  • Process payments, including overseas transactions and foreign exchange operations

Monthly Management Accounts

  • Assist in preparing journals for prepayments, accruals, and depreciation
  • Contribute to the monthly management accounts preparation

Payroll
Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and in compliance with regulations


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Demonstrated knowledge of Sage 50 and payroll software
  • Experience in preparing management accounts is essential

Skills & Competencies:


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills to interact with suppliers, customers, and internal stakehold
