Assistant Associate
Our 12-month competence-based IGG Graduate Gateway programme starts in September 2024.

About the role
Our training and development initiatives are carefully designed to empower our people to unlock their full potential. We prioritise ensuring that individuals within the IGG find fulfilment in both their professional growth and personal development.

You will have regular opportunities to:

  • Attend board-level meetings
  • Own and manage projects in schemes that range in size, but most are multimillionpound support internal working groups with EDI/wellbeing/sustainability initiatives
  • Work alongside lawyers, actuaries, accountants, and other professionals that advise the Trustee.
  • Learn how to write formal documents such as minutes or letters to scheme members.
All of which complement both your practical experience and meet the theoretical requirements of the Pensions Management Institute*- Personal effectiveness

You will have a mentor and manager to support you throughout the process and meet with you at regular progress reviews.

At the end of the program, you will be able to run a pensions scheme as an Associate.

The requirements
Degree in any discipline.

w/c April 29th, week, w/c May 6th, w/c May 12th, or w/c May 19th via Microsoft Teams.

Stage 2 interview and assessment:
June 6th at our Head Office in London, conducted face-to-face.
