The Administration Assistant role:


Due to continued company growth, an opportunity has arisen for an
Admin Assistantto join our expanding Estimating team at our head office in Corby Northamptonshire.


Main responsibilities of the Administration Assistant include:

  • Engaging with Sub-Contractors
  • Sending out and receiving packages of work
  • Supporting with spreadsheets and schedules
  • Data inputting / spreadsheet control
  • Data analysis
  • Assisting with monthly reporting
  • Collating and checking tender return packages
  • Inputting and presenting data for analysis by the senior team
  • Providing data for management information
  • Attending meetings and taking / typing minutes
  • Updating and maintaining records
  • Supporting with associated tasks required within the Estimating Department

Our ideal Administration Assistant
will have the below skills and experience:

  • Administrative Experience
  • Intermediate Word and Excel
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to work independently to ensure tasks are completed
  • Time Management and process management
  • Eye for detail
  • Flexibility
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Driving license required
  • Advanced Excel would be a benefit, as would some experience in the Construction industry.
