Make Ready Driver

Wild Recruitment are seeking C1 Driving Licence holders for a position we have available for a Make Ready Driver.

This exciting opportunity is great for an individual who is looking to work with an NHS trust and has previous van driving experience.

You will be collecting and transporting the vehicles in Peterborough and surrounding areas.

The Key Responsibilities of a Make Ready Driver:

  • To collect and distribute vehicles as and when needed, so they are ready and meet the requirements for the operational crews to use at the start of their shift.
  • To carry out vehicle daily inspections to ensure vehicles are safe to drive.
  • To have a clear understanding of vehicle maintenance.
  • To clean ambulances for operational duty to the agreed quality standards for the benefit of our patients and staff.
The shift for this role is 06:00 - 14:00, 5 days a week with weekend availability.

This is a temporary position with ongoing work available.

Pay Rate of £11.45 per hour.

Important requirements for a Make Ready Driver:

  • Must have a Fully UK Driving Licence, including C1 Licence.
  • A maximum of 3 points on your Driving Licence to be considered.
  • Previous Van/Car driving experience.
