CareerMakers Recruitment currently looking for Production Operative to join our client based in Liverpool, L33 area.

Responsibilities

As a Production Operative, you will work on a small production line filling, sealing, and packing our client delicious sauces along with providing essential general support to the production process to ensure our products are made efficiently and to the highest of standards.

Our client creates sweet sauces for customers in the bakery, ice cream and confectionery markets including some of the most well-known retailers in the UK food industry.

To enjoy this role, and be successful in it, you will be comfortable to perform routine factory work and enjoy doing so to high standards.

You will also be a natural team player who enjoys contributing to the success of the team and motivating others.

This role also requires an understanding of food safety and health and safety in food manufacturing however full training will be provided.

Working on a production line filling, sealing, and packing hot sauces into a variety of packaging as per customer specification.
Supporting the machine operator to prepare the lines and consumables ready for packing
Cleaning and tidying the production area to ensure the area is always safe and hygienic.
Working with a high regard for food safety and health and safety procedures.
Taking responsibility for and maintaining GMP standards in the area.
Reporting and communicating any nonconformances with product or process.
Providing any other general support to the department as required.
Working as part of a team to ensure service levels and other KPIs are achieved.
Supporting the management team with the training of new team members.
Have previous experience within food manufacturing.
Be a team player who will proactively look to support others wherever possible.
Be a confident communicator.
Be flexible and adaptable responding to changing demands and business needs.
Have Level 2 Food Safety and Allergen awareness training or awareness.
Be a confident user of computers and technology.
Have an understanding of or an interest in the food industry.
