ServiceNow Platform Architect

Hybrid 2/3 days a week - London. 6 Months. Up to £750 per day PAYE.

Role Description:


As the ServiceNow Platform Owner you will be responsible for the strategic design, development, +and deployment if our ServiceNow Platform using preferred partners ensuring we are utilizing the all-platform features and keeping a clean implementation toretain a high platform health score and simple upgradability.


You will ensure that the capabilities built are in line with the DWS Business needs, collaborating with all Technology functions to ensure the right design, inputs/integrations and roadmaps place as required.

Additionally, you will run the ServiceNow Platformforum where all inflight and future projects and changes will be discussed with our technology stakeholders.

You will also drive continual improvement of ServiceNow to drive efficiencies and remove repetition to streamline support activities, reduce risk,and improve system availability.


Your key responsibilities:


  • Creation and maintenance of the ServiceNow product roadmap (features and versions).
  • Managing the various business product owners aligned to the modules of ServiceNow we consume.
  • Defining and owning the release and environment process/strategy for ServiceNow.
  • Assuring vendor driven design, build and implementation activity, ensuring best use of the platform and a high health score.
  • Running the build and transformation and maturity of our ServiceNow platform.
  • Working with process and business product owners to ensure we understand our demand and capacity requirements.
  • Owning and chairing the ServiceNow design authority.
  • Owning the vendor relationship with ServiceNow.

Your skills and experience:


  • You will have extensive experience in ServiceNow implementations and maintenance (including but not limited to ITSM Pro, SAM, ITOM, APM and IRM).
  • Proven experience in owning and maintaining ServiceNow as an enterprise platform.
  • You will have implemented multiple ServiceNow modules and environments across a spectrum of requirements.
  • You will have knowledge of ITSM, SAM, ITOM, IRM, APM, ITBM plus others.
  • You will have previously been a developer and architect of ServiceNow with hands on experience of building the platform.
  • You will be a ServiceNow Certified Administrator, Certified Implementor, Certified Architect.

What would make you stand out?

  • Desired Certification: ITIL Intermediate or Expert, V3 or above.
  • Experience on Financial Services will be a plus.
