Rate:
£18 - £20 per hour DOE

Contract Duration: 6 Months with opportunity to go perm

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fitter Technician to join our team in Aberdeen.

This role involves providing support for the assembly and testing of subsea equipment, ensuring adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble subsea equipment and components as per specifications and drawings to meet customer requirements.
Conduct setup of finished assemblies/products and perform testing in accordance with routing and engineering procedures.
Perform disassembly and inspection of subsea equipment including XT, CWOR, tooling, and wellhead tooling.
Exercise stop work authority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all employees.

Requirements:

Proven experience in assembling and testing subsea equipment.
Familiarity with health and safety environment compliance.
Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings.
Strong commitment to quality and safety.

Advantageous Skills:

Experience servicing, testing, and maintaining intervention/workover control systems (IWOCS) equipment such as hydraulic power units, control panel units, and umbilical reelers.
Competency in running IWOCS systems to assist with SIT operations onsite.
Strong IWOC diagnostic and problemsolving skills.
