City of York Council is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our housing team, as we continue to fulfil our commitment to provide and support healthy and sustainable housing in York.

- providing a high level of customer care
- responding to customer enquiries
- liaising with tenants, landlords and others regarding the services we offer
- administering our HMO licensing schemes
- ensuring that information is recorded on the accurately on the computer systems

For the role you will need:

  • "can do" attitude to challenging problems and situations, and the ability to react at pace.
- excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skillS
- good customer service skills
- good IT skills including use of databases

Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role.

Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process.

Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
