What you will be doing...

Product Owner to help improve our customers holiday experience. This is a

hybrid role based from our Leeds City Centre offices

Product Owners are at the forefront of building and improving these. As a
-
Product Owner, you'll work across large areas of the business, such as pre booking, post booking, finance and legal, airline and holiday operations, or business continuity. Working in a dynamic, fast paced environment, you'll adapt quickly to changes. You'll help define product strategy, ideate and create solutions that deliver for our customers, colleagues and supply chain, alongside delivering the operational and financial targets of the business.


What you'll be doing:


  • A strong track record of shipping great products that users love
  • Experience of managing and utilising data to drive business benefits
  • To be experienced in working closely with software engineering
  • To be comfortable of being accountable against agreed objectives and outcomes
  • An agile approach to bring change both strategically and tactically
  • A framework to create ideas and validate solutions to deliver against clear objectives
  • To be an effective, clear communicator at all levels and areas of the business with strong stakeholder management skills
  • To be an advocate for change and support productled culture across the organisation
  • Experience and knowledge of payments from a merchant acquiring perspective would be a strong advantage, as would a background in financial systems

To do this you will:


  • Work hand in hand with internal departments to understand the needs of the business.
  • Work closely with counterparts in design, business analysis and software engineering to define solutions
  • Help facilitate problem solving, you are not the person with all the ideas, ideas can come from anywhere, you need a framework to help create best solutions.
  • Keep everyone who needs to know in the know, whether that's defining objectives, prioritising and agreeing roadmaps or keeping people informed of releases and recent successes (or failures)
  • Line manage more junior product roles when the strategy requires it.

What you will need:

  • Experience in utilising data and be comfortable using it to highlight performance
  • To be an effective communicator at all levels and areas of the business with strong stakeholder management skills
  • To be an advocate for change and support productled culture across the organisation

  • To be comfortable line managing or would like to move into line management of product people.
