We are looking for a customer driven individual to join us on a permanent basis as an Administrator for a key Life & Pensions client.


This role will be based at our central Swindon offices (Newbridge Square), just a few minutes' walk from Swindon train station.

What will you do?

  • Processing and updating existing policies and claims in accordance with changed requirements to include beneficiary, coverage amounts, insurance type, reinstatement or cancellation terms, etc.
  • Communicating with policy holders and/or agents to issue the appropriate insurance documents as a result of the requested changes including updated policy, reinstatement or cancellation notification, etc.
  • Calculating premiums, refunds, commissions, adjustments, and new reserve requirements using insurance rate standards according to changed requirements.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Previous experience in a regulated Financial Services environment would be preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
  • Able to communicate effectively both in writing and over the telephone.
  • Able to work as part of a team, but also handle your own varying workloads when working remotely, so good organisational skills are required.
  • Good numeracy and literacy, as writing letters to customers will be essential to the role.
  • Strong PC / MS Office skills.
