We are currently recruiting and are looking to employ dedicated security professionals to work within our existing team based in Scunthorpe.

We require a mobile patrol officer whit a 'can-do' attitude who is willing to learn and enhance the current standard of the security team.

Whilst not exhaustive, the role will involve the below criteria

  • Patrolling the site safely with vigilance challenging any suspicious behaviour and Health & Safety concerns.
  • Detailed incident reporting
  • Polite and Professional attitude
  • Attending alarm activations on and off site
  • Attending incidents in an efficient and timely manner
  • Issuing road traffic offences, completing road traffic collision reports and crime reports.
  • Assisting Duty Supervisor and gatehouse officers
  • Carrying out speed checks
  • Unlock/Lock up of buildings and gates throughout site
  • Opening and closing gates for British Steel staff and contractors on site
  • Reporting defects of property and equipment
  • Carrying out welfare checks on the gatehouses throughout shifts
  • Shift pattern 4 on 4 off (2 days & 2 nights then 4 off)
  • Conducting random vehicle searches on site
  • Conducting locker searches when requested
  • Conducting Due Cause tests when necessary
  • Ensuring detailed vehicle checks are completed at the start and end of shift.
  • Ensuring vehicles are left clean and tidy at the end of the shift
  • Reporting vehicle damage to management
  • Escorting vehicles and individuals throughout site when requested
  • Liaising with control when completing tasks.
  • Provide an effective and efficient Security Service to our customers, ensuring high standards and professionalism are maintained at all times.

Salary:
£10.75 per hour

- security: 3 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • SIA (required)
  • Driving Licence (required)
