Credit Controller - Newbury, United Kingdom - Aligra
Description
We are hiring a Credit Controller for our busy automotive client based in Newbury. This is a full-time position with a minimum 8 month contract.
You will be responsible for monitoring and chasing outstanding invoices, following up with customers to ensure timely payment.
Pay:
- £17.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Collect and reconcile credit notes from customers and suppliers.
- Provide support to the Finance Manager in managing the company's cash flow.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate customer account information.
- Check new customers' eligibility and arrange credit facilities with suppliers.
- Monitor and report on customer payment patterns.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any queries.
- Provide support in preparing monthly and yearend financial statements.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the Finance Manager.
- Ensure all financial records are accurately maintained and up to date.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role as a Credit Controller for a minimum of 5 years.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of D365 is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach to problemsolving.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
