Acorn Press are currently looking for an experienced Printing assistant to join our friendly team.The role is to help with the running of our hi-tech lithographic printing press by Loading paper, plates and ink with the aim to help the press minder to achieve maximum productivity.
The role is quite a physical role moving large pallets of paper, boxes of heavy aluminium printing plates and large tubs of printing ink.
The ideal applicant must be physically fit, hardworking and willing to learn. Must be able to think and work by themselves and as part of a busy team.This role is working a double day shift rotating weekly, eg 6am-1.30pm wk1 then 1.30pm-9pm wk2
