The Recipe


Are you a Driver Trainer or Driver Assessor at the top of your game and looking for your next challenge? We have an opportunity for a Driver Trainer to cover our Depots in the South, working Monday to Friday.


  • Working alongside the Driver Operations Team, you will support the team through driver training and driver assessments for new and existing colleagues. You will lead by promoting safe, economical, and professional driving practices and be our ambassador for excellence in driving. This is a great opportunity to join us on our journey of innovation and continuous improvement and you'll drive, through the team, safe, efficient and timely delivery of products to our customers

Key Accountabilities and Measures


We work collaboratively and teamwork is very important to us, our Driver Trainers work with the distribution team, to ensure our new drivers are inducted and on-boarded in accordance with Company policy, health & safety and statutory and legal requirements, as well as making sure our existing drivers receive any further training and development in their roles.


Personal development is something that we champion, and you'll be implementing and delivering a training schedule to assist in the development and coaching of drivers who are aiming to gain a higher category license through Warburtons.


You will have previous work experience in Distribution and have an excellent knowledge of transport legislation for example, Driver regulations, mobile working time directive and the highway code and hold a current and up to date CPC.

You will be passionate about training and development and be able to engage our teams to be at their very best therefore you will have excellent communication skills.

Essential Ingredients

  • Holder of a current and up to date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence CPC and a Class 1 license
  • An experienced Driver Trainer
  • Have an excellent knowledge of current Transport Legislation
  • Be prepared to travel across our sites in the South East and West
