Description

My client is currently seeking an IT Analyst to join their busy law firm on a permanent basis in Manchester.

  • Delivery of high quality technical support on a range of technologies, primarily via telephone and remote control
  • Responding appropriately to, and effectively resolving or escalating user incidents or queries within SLA and KPI timeframes (first response and resolution)
  • Take ownership of requests assigned to you and manage them through to resolution
  • Perform administrative tasks (user and server related)
  • Help support and train other team members
  • Predominantly based in Manchester but willing to travel to Liverpool and London on occasion as required
Essential Skills and Experience

  • 1+ years handson related IT support experience in a professional services environment
  • Experience supporting users within a Windows Desktop10, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environment
  • Active Directory user configuration
  • Use and support of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel)
  • Awareness of Local Area Networking including local patching to switches
  • Strong customer service ethic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, supporting other team members
  • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills with good attention to detail
  • Proactive, ability to be selfmotivated and effectively manage own workload
  • Continuous improvement mentality
  • Technical understanding of current leading technologies, suppliers and industry terminology
  • Awareness of data protection and confidentiality principles

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Formal IT qualifications/certifications
  • MCSA or multiple MCPs highly advantageous
  • Microsoft 36 iManage
