Aon is currently recruiting a Senior Broker to join the Healthcare team within our Global Broking Centre, in London.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating and contributing to the marketing & negotiation of medical malpractice and liability placements for healthcare and life-science clients within the Lloyd's and Company Markets.

This is a Hybrid role which will involve part office/home-based working. Aon is in the business of better decisions

What the day will look like:
Client management and broking in servicing for an international portfolio of clients, including both renewals and new business from initial enquiry through to the handing over of the placing slip to the processing/documentation team
Provide full reviews of the risks proposed, preparation of underwriting presentations, and review of insurance produced by our documentation team
Placement with insurers, including electronic trading
Contribute to the growth of the portfolio
Support and lead tenders
Proactively manage market relationships and support our broking strategy.

Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with our policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of required training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

The team comprises of 5 Brokers and 3 client service delivery specialists and serves a wide portfolio of clients emanating from all over the world, with particular strengths in North America, Australia, UK, Ireland, Israel and continental Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic team, who are the preferred trading partner for many of the Healthcare insurers writing on Lloyds and Company paper.

Proven experience gained within the insurance industry at either a Broker or Insurer, preferably with knowledge of Health markets
Excellent understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes;
Experience of managing effective client relationships with insurers, both Lloyds and company markets;
Ability to utilise insurance industry IT systems (Brokasure / ECM / PPL)
Effective communication and presentation skills;
