    So, welcome to the heart of our global takeover operation Baudoin & Lange is offering a full-time position as Logistic & Production Assistant to join our highly experienced Product Team

    An exciting opportunity in our expanding production and product development team for a Logistic & Production Assistant. This role is primarily for a dedicated individual who shows a has a good starting knowledge of logistic dynamics and genuine interest in the footwear industry. During your time you will be maintaining positive relations with the suppliers and logistic hubs to ensure timely and cost-effective processes internally and externally.

    The successful candidate is hands-on with an intellectual curiosity to explore the future of footwear production in a forever changing environment. This is an extraordinary opportunity that allows both personal and professional growth, with opportunities to learn across multiple touchpoints. Whilst working in our creative and fast-paced environment within the luxury industry, you will be reporting directly to our industry-seasoned Head of Product.

    Your key responsibilities across logistic and production department:

    LOGISTIC & SUPPLY CHAIN

    ·     Liaising with the factories and the warehouse to make sure the orders are shipped in or out the facilities and in the expected quantities and timing.

    ·     Managing the order arrivals and departures to the warehouse on the related logistic platform

    ·     Elaborating files, reports, shipping paperwork and monitoring deliveries through the logistic platform

    ·     Providing shipping quotes and monitoring shipments in and out the facilities.

    ·     Handling deliveries if requested (opening deliveries, product QC,…)

    PRODUCTION

    • Working closely with in the production department and act as back office for documents and collection files.
    • Liaising with vendors on shipments, tracking and monitoring deliveries to ensure they arrive on time.
    • Recording orders arrivals and reporting criticalities.
    • Supporting production with collection documents, updating spec sheets, colour charts, sample archives and completing administrative tasks.
    • Organising and filing materials, swatches and samples in the office and digital archive.

    ·     Monitoring the QC operation at the logistic warehouse and reporting criticalities.

    ·      Organizing and managing samples and raw materials to vendors and suppliers

    ·      Being supportive in any other task requested by the teams.

    About you

    ·     Fluent in Italian speaking and writing (none-negotiable in order to deal with our Italian suppliers)

    · years of experience in similar roles.

    ·     Advanced proficiency in Excel and organisation skills are essential.

    ·     Very detail orientated

    • Ability to operate at very fast pace with flexibility, initiative and solution orientated

    ·     Strong eye for detail and demonstrate knowledge of art, design, culture and fashion

    ·     A start-up attitude, rolling up your sleeves and getting things done in a non-corporate, pragmatic way

    ·     Entrepreneurial growth mindset, comfortable in highly ambiguous environments and able to independently take responsibility from day one

    ·     Demonstrate a curious mind with an eagerness to learn and keep abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and tools
