THE OPPORTUNITY


This opportunity will require the Sales Team Leader to work alongside the Business Centre Manager to ensure the sales team are delivering successful results and exceeding KPI's, whilst working towards your own individual sales target.

As the Team Leader,you will be responsible for the training and development of your team to ensure everyone works together cohesively, which will result in achieving the overall team target.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Recruiting, inducting, and training the Sales Executives, to ensure that all new starters are trained to the highest standards of the team and supported throughout their probationary period.
  • Ensuring that targets are clearly set, mentoring, and motivating the team to hit the required activity.
  • Leading by example when making outbound calls to prospective customers.
  • Prospecting new clients via the phone and following up leads to promote and sell our client's services which will result in securing appointments for the virtual and field sales teams to attend.
  • Ensuring that each Sales Executive understands and follows the correct internal processes, ensuring that all data is accurately logged in the CRM system.
  • Ensuring that all new starters follow the company handbook and complete the Specialist Automotive Finance (SAF) test and additional Proficiency Solutions modules annually.
  • Monitoring calls, carrying out relevant performance reviews to improve the quality of the team and minimise errors.
  • Performing weekly 121 reviews with each team member highlight their current successes and any areas to improve performance, ensuring that they are motivated to exceed daily targets.
  • Working closely with the Business Centre Manager and providing them with weekly reporting.

  • Enthusiastic attitude and motivated to drive team performance.
  • Ability to follow specific processes and provide detailed feedback to team members.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring that you and the team work cooperatively, minimising potential errors.
  • Exceptional communication skills to ensure that instructions and training are clearly outlined to team members.
  • Have a genuine understanding of team members' requirements, to develop team morale, ensuring that everyone works to the highest standards.
