Description

We are looking for two enthusiastic and hard working medical secretaries to manage the administration for two of our GP partners within this exceptionally busy private practice on Sloane Street.


You would be responsible for providing administrative support to a designated GP partner and provide an efficient secretarial support to both the GP partner and the wider team of GP partners and associates.

The Sloane Street Surgery is an established private general practice situated between Sloane Square and Knightsbridge. We offer high-quality private healthcare in a professional and efficient working environment.


Responsibilities include:


  • Processing all patient related information, including clinic letters, reports, referrals, appointments, admissions, and all general enquiries.
  • Ensuring that all correspondence is handled within the required timeframes.
  • Booking all appointments and coordinate imaging, pathology, or hospital appointments as required.
  • Handling any outstanding invoices for patients, insurers or third parties to ensure prompt payment.
  • Call handling for an exceptionally busy switchboard.
  • Query and complaints handling

Requirements for this position include:


  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skill
  • Well established numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE or equivalent, at grade C or above in Mathematics and English)
  • Accurate typing
  • Demonstrate ability to pay good attention to detail, reliably check and record data and identify anomalies and be able to selfcheck completed work
  • A high level of discretion
  • Experience working in a medical or healthcare setting is favourable
