Denholm are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading FMCG business based in North Lanarkshire. We are looking for an experienced Production Team Leader/ Supervisor to join the team.

The objective of this role is to lead a finishing team to producefinished goods to the agreed specifications and standards and achieve the daily planned output within the estimated labour hours.

The opportunity:

Ownership and accountability of line leadership
Follow company procedures and processes
Manage team in line with procedures and processes
Achieve daily planned target outputs
Monitor quality throughout production controlling waste levels
Accurate record keeping of production outputs, waste, and stock within company systems
Create a culture of Health & Safety awareness, good manufacturing practice, high quality standard, good housekeeping
Good communication with regular briefs to team
Building team effectiveness throughout the production, technical, quality and logistics teams
Understand improvement techniques
Actively involved in projects, plan, organise, arrange all that is needed to make it happen in operations
Maintain good facilities in the department, monitor ergonomics working environments for staff
Carry out any other duties as requested by Manager
Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
Works well under pressure
Team player, target driven, selfmotivator
Numerate and computer skills
Good communication skills
Ability to coach and mentor
Selfstarter, selfteach and make it happen in a pressured environment
Flexible
