We are recruiting for the following administrative role:

Job Summary:

To provide administrative support to the trainees (GP trainees / registrars / junior GPs) and Lead Educator.


Job Purpose and Responsibilities:


To ensure that:

  • The trainee has a personalised induction programme organised before the start of their placement (this will be devised following input and supervision from the lead educator).
  • Weekly rotas for the trainees are shared with and approved by the lead educator.
  • Timetables and rotas for the trainee are prepared at least 1 week in advance.
  • Trainees are set up with IT logins and software access in advance of placements.
  • The trainee completes the medical equipment inventory before and after each placement if used.
  • Equipment is in good working order before and after each trainee placement and alert the lead educator and/or practice manager of any problems or faulty equipment.
  • The trainee has completed all aspects of their induction by making sure they have completed their checklists for practice and training records.
  • Any changes in timetables are communicated to both the trainee and lead educator.
  • Compile trainee session rotas using EMIS templates.
  • Provide feedback to the lead educator if any lack of communication, disengagement or behaviour of concern is noted from the trainee.
  • To provide general support to the administrative team by participating in administrative duties and workflow as decided and deemed necessary by the practice manager or deputy practice manager. This includes but is not limited to processing of referrals, Docman filing, QOF recalls, IIF admin, compiling audits and searches, delivering batch messaging campaigns.

Part-time hours: 20 per week


Salary:
From £12.00 per hour
