A global manufacturer of complex components to the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and Energy sectors has a new opportunity for an Manufacturing Engineer.

With significant experience working in a precision machining environment, you will be responsible forthe creation of NC programs, driving continuous improvement and successful New Product Introduction.

Nottingham, Derby,Mansfield, Sheffield,Newark On Trent, Sutton In Ashfield.

Salary:
£36,000 - £ 46,000 p.a.

The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager your key responsibilities will be:
Creation of NC programs using Catia

Work with the Senior team to identify new processes and techniques.

Develop and train junior engineers and the production team

Ensure that all CAPEX spend is strictly monitored and in budget.

Accurate entry of geometry for part programming.

Work with the Engineering Manager and NPI Manager to define new process and programs

Ensure that all drawings and models are issue level maintained.

Ensure Full NPI protocol and process structured are ran in accordance with QMS

Ensure PFMEA's are implemented

Engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent experience

Catia programming experience

A good understanding of aerospace standards and processes

Advanced Engineering qualifications would be a benefit but not essential

Experienced in the utilisation / use of Vericut

Well organised with a right first-time attitude
