This highly innovative mixed-use property developer is looking to recruit a Senior Maintenance Operative to join the Facilities Management Department within their Build to Rent / PRS division at their site in Wembley.

You will be responsible for overseeing a team of maintenance operatives and decorators to ensure apartment readiness in advance of new move-ins and after move-outs.


The role will involve investigating and rectifying maintenance cases when raised, liaising directly with residents, and delivering exceptional customer service levels at all times.

You will be managing schedules / rotas, overseeing stock checks and orderingof equipment / materials, providing day to day support on issues arising and acting as a point of contact / escalation for residents and internal stakeholders within the company.

When required, you will also be undertaking works / repairs yourself by drawingon your previous working experience.


Qualifications, experience & skills:

  • Relevant experience at a similar level is required
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential as this is a customer facing role; must be well presented
  • IT literate with experience of using CRM / CAFM systems to monitor, track and update reported issues is essential
  • Wellorganised and must have strong administration skills
  • A positive mindset and adaptable / receptive to change in a rapidly expanding business
  • A team player overall, but can work independently for large amounts of time
  • Flexibility is required. You may be required to attend site in the event of emergencies outside of normal working hours to attend to maintenance matters. (There will be a minimum callout fee of 2 hours, paid at the hourly rate in these instances).
The salary for this role will in the region of £37,000 to £40,000. Fantastic benefits include 35 days holiday (pro-rata'd), private medical insurance and access to a range of discounts and other perks
