About the role.


As a Multi Skilled Operative in the Building Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for assisting the mechanical, electrical, and building departments in delivering high quality, customer focussed commercial and domestic installations, maintenance and remedial works and cyclical planned works.

You will ensure that these works are delivered on time, to specification and within budget.


You will work on your own initiative and as part of a team carrying out works in Schools, Public Buildings and Housing properties all within the Council's property portfolio.


We also operate an out of hours call out service which employees will be required to participate in for which an additional payment will be made.
