As Marqeta's Senior Director of Sales in UK, you will report to Marqeta's SVP and Managing Director for International and lead our Sales, Partnership and Customer Success teams.

You will set the strategy to meet the regions bookings and revenue goals and partner closely with some of the most innovative companies in Europe.

You will help your leadership team grow from managers of teams to organizational leaders and culture carriers.

This is a highly cross-functional and strategic role that requires strong partnerships with our marketing, solutions engineering, delivery and legal teams as well as sales and customer success teams in North America.

We work Flexible First. This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the UK or from our London office. We'd love for you to join us


What You'll Do

  • Operate as an integral part of the European senior leadership team to deliver on goals, GTM strategies, and consistent sales processes.
  • Build and execute the Sales strategy for EMEA including assessing the TAM, defining target verticals and identifying key prospect clients.
  • Cultivate relationships with CXO level executives to build pipeline and drive revenue growth.
  • Drive crossfunctional collaboration and alignment with key partner teams, including Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Delivery, Revenue Operations and other teams in Enterprise Sales globally.
  • Build a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and highperforming sales organization.
  • Coach, manage, and grow a team of sales leaders that manage sales executives and customer success experts
  • Help your teams deliver quarterly sales plans, goals and joint business plans with key prospects and partners.

What We're Looking For

  • 15+ years of experience in sales, account management, or partner management.
  • 10+ years of experience managing teams.
  • Experience building CXO level relationships with internal and external stakeholders, in various industries across retail, finance, and services.
  • Thought leadership, as demonstrated by industry expertise in Payments, Retail, Fintech and Banking, with an ability to influence in complex situations.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and partner successfully to develop creative and innovative solutions for our partners.
  • Successful track record building vertical GTM strategies to exceed annual and quarterly revenue targets.
