***This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in gardening, who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in their work. You will be working as part of a small team of Grounds & Gardens Assistants at a prestigious boarding school based in the centre of Cheltenham.

Reporting into the Gardens Supervisor, and working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of a portfolio of gardens across College.

In addition to the College gardens, we also have a number of Boarding Houses, each with their own, individual and unique gardens.

All gardens require regular maintenance and development to the highest standard.

You will be expected to use your operational experience and technical expertise to ensure our gardens are maintained in a safe, tidy and attractive state.

College also has two sports fields, along with two astro turf pitches, and 18 hard courts.

Whilst attending to the gardens will be your primary focus, at times you may also be involved in the maintenance and development of amenities and playing surfaces, ensuring that playing surfaces are safe and of a consistent quality.

Some weekend working may be required to support events.

As a member of the support staff you will be part of a large and friendly community of professionals who support our pupils' education and experience.

You'll be joining a significant team that underpins the success of College.

Interview date is yet to be confirmed.
