As a Barclays Senior Project Manager you will be part of a global Risk Finance Treasury Project (RFT) team that provides support across the programme ensuring appropriate levels of due diligence, control and achievement of desired outcomes and benefitsin line with Barclay's governance requirements and best practice.

You will be involved in projects and implementation of capital rule changes driven by regulatory demands or strategic investments across wholesale credit risk at Barclays.

What will you be doing?:

Leading planning, execution and closure efforts for end to end delivery of assigned Wholesale Credit Risk projects
Chairing relevant governance forums and producing relevant artefacts as per Barclays change control standards
Managing RAID, coordinating across functions and systems for planning interlock and dependency management
Proactively managing risks and issues, escalating as necessary to remove blockers
Managing the weekly reporting process, chasing PMs as required to ensure the timely submission of reports to management team
Continuously learning about business processes and systems to challenge solution designs, planning assumptions and suggesting efficient alternatives
Managing communication at all levels leading training efforts to provide status updates to most senior governance forums

What we're looking for:

Experienced PM with demonstrable track record of supporting multiple programmes/projects
Understanding of Programme / Project management methodologies and governance
Excellent Excel / Powerpoint and MSP skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, the ability to work with and present to senior stakeholders

Skills that will help you in the role:

Experience of working with Technology deliveries and complex programmes/projects I ideally within a Financial Institution
Experience of working across multiple business areas across virtual global teams
Knowledge of Agile methodology and supporting tools and techniques
Experience in regulatory compliance projects is desirable
