Description

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a
CNC Turner to join their established company based in
Harlow, Essex. Our client specialises in precision CNC machining to OEM customer specification, in particular to the Defence, High End Furnishings, Retail, Aerospace, Scientific and Telecommunications sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established company where there is the ability to develop

  • Previous working experience as a CNC Turner
  • The ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Previous experience with programming, setting and operating
  • A good understanding of Cutting Tools and work holding
  • Previous experience with CNC Pilot is preferred but this is not essential

The role entails:


  • CNC Turning including Y Axis Driven Tooling
  • Online programming using Guide I (Fanuc) and Heidenhain CNC Pilot
  • Reading and understanding Engineering Drawings
  • Working as a programmer, setter and operator

Other details:


  • Monday to Thursday 07:00 16:00
  • Friday 07:00 13:00
  • Salary dependent on experience
