County Telephone Assessor - 2 posts available

Salary:
Scale - 6 starting salary £23,500 per annum


Hours: 20 hours per week over 3 days


Base location:
Hybrid - England or Wales home working with the ability to attend one of our local branch offices if required

Purpose of Role:


Do you have an excellent telephone manner, keen active listening skills and enjoy research and helping people? If so, we have two part time, hybrid remote, permanent positions (2 x 20 hours over 3 days) available in our friendly team of paid staff and volunteers.

Using our call management system you will be the first point of contact for our clients seeking advice.

You will explore their issues, give out assisted information, signpost to external organisations, refer internally and organise appointments for those who need them.


This job is primarily home based, but there is an option to work from one of our County branches if you wish and there will be an occasional requirement to attend team meetings and training in a County office - prior notice will be given.

Qualifications/Skills Required
Remote communication skills are really important for this role, with research and IT skills coming a close second.

You will need to be friendly and approachable, comfortable to set clear boundaries with clients and confident in managing conversations to get the information that you need quickly.

Base location:
Main base TBC with travel across Leicestershire to branches and community venues with occasional home working
