Description

You're the brains behind our work.

You're ready to bring your knowledge from the classroom to the boardroom, and Citi wants to help you get there.

Whether it's honing your skills or building your network, we know that success can't come without growth.

Our programs equip you with the knowledge and training you need to play a valuable role on your team, and establish a long-term career here.

At Citi, we value internal mobility, and career growth is not a question of if, but when.

Citi's Institutional Clients Group (ICG) is looking for Apprentices to join our Application Production Management team in November 2023. This team provides critical support functions to our trading and banking businesses and support a broad range of technologies.

Our production support analysts work directly with traders on the trade floor and use their problem solving and technological skills to quickly resolve any technological issues, which can vary in severity and complexity and may impact Citi's reputation or profits.

This is very much a team environment, and apprentices will learn the skills needed for the role by working with other team members, learning tips and tricks from experienced members of the team, and will be given exposure to a vast range of experiences supporting technologies and users at Citi.

We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.
We're committed to teaching you the ropes. During the program you will study for the City & Guilds

Level 3 Software Development training track of the ICT Apprenticeship.

Aside from your peer group and manager, you will have a buddy and a dedicated program manager whilst on program.

You will also benefit from first class technical and business training from a well-established team including access to Citi's online training portal.

Additionally you will experience side-by-side job shadowing and coaching with your team combined with the opportunity to work as a key part of a truly global team.

You will gain experience in liaising with Trading and Sales, Middle Office and Operations counterparts in one of the world's largest investment banks.

You will also have the opportunity to work with new and cutting edge technologies such as Cloud/MongoDB/Storm/BigData/Solace, as well as expanding skillset in established technologies such as TIBCO EMS/ Oracle/MS SQL/Linux/Weblogic/Gemfire to name a few.
