Customer Service Manager/Head of Customer Support


We have an opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Manager to work for our well-established and professional client based in Hoddesdon.

The role is a full-time permanent position working from 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday with a 30-minute unpaidbreak and offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Direct and control the staff of the department to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
  • Develop and implement a customer service strategy which provides total customer satisfaction and meets corporate objectives.
  • Develop and implement the departments budget to ensure that all business objectives are attained.
  • Oversee the departments finances to ensure that all revenue, profit and cost targets are met.
  • Develop and implement all necessary processes and procedures to ensure the achievement of high productivity with world class quality processes to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of products and services.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities to ensure sustained growth.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key customers to develop more business opportunities.
  • Negotiate major contracts for the company to maximise profit margins.
  • To undertake any reasonable additional tasks or duties, as asked f you, from time to time.
  • Ensure that you understand and are familiar with your responsibilities and duties as contained in the Company's Health & Safety Procedures.
