We're looking for a charismatic personality with a passion for premium drinks to join the Asahi Mitchells & Butlers account team.

This is a new and exciting role where you will be the face of a premium beer portfolio.

Your primary role will be to build relationships and drive brand loyalty, distribution & rate of sale, through best-in-class customer engagement & brand advocacy initiatives.


As the 'face' of Asahi UK within the Midlands & North, you'll spend 75% of your time out in Trade, supporting and engaging with outlet managers and staff.

With the autonomy to manage your own diary and accountability for the delivery of your KPIs, this role requires an entrepreneurial approach, with superior time management and organisational skills.

What does a typical day/ week look like?
Most of your time will be spent out in trade, engaging with outlet managers and staff. And every customer interaction mattersFrom ensuring contract adherence,


to gaining new distribution agreements, increasing brand visibility and rate of sale through exciting brand activations and events, or winning hearts and minds and driving quality through engaging training sessions - The results you deliver will all contribute to the overall success of the account team.


When not in trade, you will be supporting the Senior National Account Manager with weekly updates on performance vs KPI's and ensuring accurate reporting to capture call details & outcomes.


Key responsibilities

  • To be the trade face of AUK's premium beer portfolio within Mitchells & Butlers pubs and an advocate for the beer category.
  • Spending a Minimum of 75% of working week in trade within M&B outlets, delivering an agreed number of visits per week.
  • Alignment with Field Sales region (Independent On Trade) to manage an agreed number of independent customers % of working month focus.
  • Capturing & reporting data and insights from each visit.
  • Drive advocacy at scale, leveraging AUK's brand advocacy platforms and encouraging staff signups.
- 'Owning' key outlet groups across key cities, such as Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Leeds,
- delivering best-in-class service & activity to drive loyalty, advocacy and rate of sale.

  • Delivering bestinclass brand training & influence sessions across AUK brand portfolio per month. Targets to be agreed with line manager.
  • Delivery of distribution & availability targets within defined retail brands & regions.
  • Commercial management of accounts including trading agreements, contract tracking and adherence, listing fees, trade investment, rebates, and renegotiation
  • Generate strong relationship network of key M&B General Managers.
  • Alignment with routetomarket partners to drive sustainable growth within existing accounts.
