Job Overview:

Axon Moore are partnering with an exciting and growing business based in Manchester, who are looking to appoint a finance assistant into the team.

The role will support the Finance Director with the day to day running of the accounts function, covering accounts payable/receivable, daily/weekly reporting, payroll and month end procedures.

As the business grows you will be able to progress and take on more responsibility and gain more development in the role.

The role would be ideal for someone looking for their first role in finance and somebody with a can-do attitude who is adaptable within their role.

£20,000 - £23,000

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Check and reconcile Cash Banking
Check and reconcile Credit Card Banking
Maintain control over sales and cash figures reported by all 10 sites and investigate variances
Check and post Deposits and Gift Vouchers to the accounting system
Post credit card payments to accounting system
Check and post petty cash to the accounting system
Post the Holiday Pay Accrual to the accounting system
Bank reconciliations
Gross Margin reconciliation food and liquor
Input site transfers to the accounting system
Stock Analysis
Maintain overview of cash held at sites and manage cash collections
Adhoc month end work supporting the Management Accountant & Finance Director
