'''Duties'''- Assist the kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Wash, peel, chop, and cut ingredients as directed by the chef or cook
- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Stock inventory and rotate food supplies
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Perform basic kitchen equipment maintenance
- Assisting residents at mealtimes
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from superiors
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
