Occupational Health Advisor Edinburgh

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our in house dynamic and motivated UK People Health & Wellbeing Team. You will be able to make a difference in the health and wellbeing of our people by providing skilled and professional support and guidance. Working alongside a team of health professionals, and reporting to the Senior Occupational Health Adviser, you will help deliver a full occupational health service, with a special focus on wellbeing, to promote and maintain good health and wellbeing. We care about our professional development and offer opportunity to enable development of skills and experience with revalidation in mind.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Support the delivery of key projects and initiatives relating to health and wellbeing, including a wellbeing champion network, providing them with support, guidance and continuous development. Continually review and evaluate the impact of our wellbeing programme to ensure it meets our People needs.

Travel Health

Promote workplace wellbeing including presentations

Support employees, managers and HR with health advice

Co-ordination of externally trained first aiders at work

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Registered Nurse with current NMC accreditation.

Occupational Health and/or Community Nurse experience

:

-
Someone who is able to demonstrate a keen interest in Wellbeing

:

Team player who is looking to expand their Occupational Health experience

:

-
Team player who enjoys sharing their knowledge

:

-
Someone who enjoys using their own initiative

:

-
Ability to deliver sound clinical advice remotely

:

Good communication skills

It would be good if you had

Knowledge of current employment law and health and safety legislation

Knowledge of health surveillance

Knowledge of online OH systems

Experience of strategising & delivering wellbeing in the workplace
