Due to continued growth, we are delighted to be advertising on behalf of our client who is seeking a General Maintenance Assistant to join their talented and dynamic team.

Our SME client operating in the construction industry, is located in the West of Aberdeen.

Consisting of a growing team of joiners, plumbers and electricians, our client prides themselves in offering a high standard of professional guidance to customers throughout the North East of Scotland.


Focused on prioritising their employees, our client offers a varied, inclusive and diverse working environment to suit the needs of every member of their team.


The General Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for providing assistance in all trades of the business (Joinery, Plumbing, Tiling, Building, Fabric).


Working closely with various project managers, you would be providing a range of maintenance duties in both a commercial and retail environment.


Your main responsibilities would include:


  • General property repairs
  • Minor repairs to plumbing works
  • Plastering and Tiling/Painting
  • Fire door maintenance Door closure repairs etc
  • Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works.

Requirements:


  • Full, clean UK driving license is essential
  • Relevant experience in all trades is essential
  • A hardworking and reliable work ethic is essential
  • Good understanding of HSE is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The desire to complete jobs to a high standard
  • Experience dealing with customers is preferred

This position is full time working Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm.
