The Internal Auditor is a new position to provide internal audit functions in the UK providing analysis, insight and control over the central finance function, working with senior management and reporting into the CFO and Group Financial Controller, basedin the UK.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Your internal audit projects will cover
• Assessing company financial risk
• Gathering and analysing business data
• Evaluating and checking the accuracy of information systems and financial reports
• Auditing the efficiency of business processes
• Ensuring the business adheres to policies, procedures, legislations and regulations, and developing these
• Communicating the findings of an audit via written reports and presentations articulately and with confidence
• Making recommendations to improve or strengthen internal controls in the UK and across an international group
• Representing the finance team and management at audit meetings
• Participating in the continuous improvement of the internal audit processes and procedures
• Developing an annual Internal Audit Plan with the senior finance management team

You will be CCAB/ CMIIA qualified or finalist, with a knowledge and understanding of commercial sector audits with demonstrable experience of performing involved audit work to a high standard, with strong technical skills and the ability to partner withcommercial and operational stakeholders in a fast paced, growing international SME environment and with at least three years internal audit experience, ideally in the professional services sector


Other skills and experience

• Familiar with Xero or other enterprise accounting system
• Experienced user of MS Office and Google sheets
• Working in a professional service environment with focus on information system and process controls
