Description

The Trust has an ambitious 2025 strategy; the
DEMAT Promise, to provide every child with the highest quality education, help them achieve their full potential and deliver an exceptional learning experience, which encompasses our five core values: Love, Community, Trust, Respect and Ambition.

We embarked on this strategy in 2020, and are now approaching the mid-point with a number of successes behind us.

This includes clear alignment and commitment across the Trust to a high quality, inclusive curriculum and education offer, supplemented by outstanding pedagogy - testament to this are our rapidly improving Ofsted outcomes and improving outcomes.

However, we have high aspirations for our children and recognise that achieving their full potential is about much more than their educational attainment.

We will need to support and encourage other experiences such as sport, music, art and drama outside of their own academy and to join with others in sharing the richness of human experience and life in all its fullness (John 10).

As we have embedded the foundations for a strong, sustainable Trust, we must push beyond these foundations to truly achieve, then exceed, our ambitions for the children in our care.

This means bringing together the wealth of experience we have from our staff, our parents and our wider communities to enable the Trust to achieve elements of the 2025 Promise - particularly our third strand 'Maintaining a legacy, creating new traditions'.

This role is pivotal in supporting the central functions, including the education team, and each academy in the Trust in delivering projects which will achieve our aims in this strand and our wider 2025 Promise.

It will be a key position in delivering a programme of activity, led by the COO but working in close collaboration with our central team, academy leaders and wider stakeholders, such as staff, pupils and parents.

It is expected that the enthusiasm, ideas and experience of the post-holder will help shape the programme itself and support the delivery of individual projects.

This is a newly created, temporary post and we welcome the opportunity to discuss it with anyone interested in applying.
