Family Support Worker - Children in Care - Nottingham

Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Support Worker to join a Children in Care team based in Nottingham.

Umbrella Rate:
£15.79 per hour

Duration: 3 months initially

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, 37 hrs/week

Family Support Worker role:
Full JD Available

Direct work with Children, Young People and their Families
Facilitate and supervise family time with looked after children and their families
Make an observation of the family time for social workers assessment
Work with the families to resolve any behavioural and emotional issues that may arise from Contact
Immediately report and record any safeguarding concerns
Provide advice and guidance to parents where needed on things such as child development, guidance on play
Build strong and trusting working relationships with the children, families and all staff
Ensure that the Child's Contact Record is complete with sufficient information
Maintain records of work and write reports
Attend meetings, reviews and conferences where necessary

Essential Requirements

Relevant professional qualification
Must have experience as an Early Help/Family support worker holding and working through a caseload
Must have experience completing Team around the family meetings and Early Help Assessments
Experience of writing and producing reports
Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal
Excellent time management and organisational skills
You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
Enhanced DBS registered to the update service
