We have exciting opportunities to join the Performance and Quality team in adult care.

We are looking for 1.5 FTE Business Services Assistant in Complaints, Policy and Information and 1 FTE Business services assistant in Information Governance.

The nature of the team's work requires accuracy, attention to detail and a good standard of written English. You will be comfortable dealing with sensitive information and can interpret and analyse complex information.

Tasks specific to the Complaints, Policy and Information team;

  • Responding to and administering enquiries, complaints, and compliments,
  • Producing internal bulletins
  • Coordinating requests for leaflets and information in alternate formats
  • Providing formatting support to make documents web accessible and assisting in the coordination of web content reviews.
  • Supporting the business services officer with collating statistics
Tasks specific to the Information Governance team;

  • Assist the team in the collation and preparation of personal data in relation to the processing of Subject Access Requests made to the department and related administrative tasks.
  • Assist the team in the administrative process in relation to Freedom of Information Requests (FOI) made to the department.
  • Assist the team in ensuring the department is meeting the requirements for records retention as per the departments Records Retention Schedule.
  • Any other tasks commensurate with the grade.


The base for this post is County Hall, Matlock, but most team members work from home although occasional attendance at base for meetings will be required.
