We are currently seeking an experienced Disability Advisor to work as part of the Disability Service within Student Wellbeing Services to provide professional and specialist advice, guidance and support to disabled students across the student journey, from recruitment to graduation.

About you:

As a dedicated Disability Advisor, you will have a knack for independent problem-solving. Within your role you will be analysing intricate issues independently, devising innovative and practical solutions amidst conflicting demands.

Your commitment to enhancing services for disabled students and empowering their full potential is paramount, as well as understanding the unique challenges within a university setting, therefore your ability to suggest and implement adjustments for students is crucial.

You will also be highly motivated, have exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, which will enable you to communicate with a wide range of university staff and health professionals.


Additional information:

Grade 6 £32,332 - £36,024 per annum

Location - Newton Park and Locksbrook Road

Interview dates - Monday 11 December 2023 & Tuesday 12 December 2023
