About the role


Are you the go-to one who answers the questions, with the know of how to keep the facilities running like clockwork? At Sodexo our facilities management professionals are at the heart of what we do and we are looking to recruit a go-to
Electrical Craftsperson to support the operation and maintenance of all plant, equipment and installations within the hospital estate at
Manchester Foundation Trust Hospital.


You will have the ability to read drawings, effect fault diagnosis on plant and equipment and carry out planned and reactive maintenance services both inside and outside of operating hours.

You will also carry out planned maintenance of Electrical Devices and test equipment calibration and sources of error.


A few things about you


We are looking for a skilled, time served electrical professional with experience of electrical maintenance / installations, who holds a C+G/BTEC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.

You must be qualified to 18th Edition Electrical Regulations with proven experience within Electrical trade.

You must be a fully competent AP, appointed in the fault diagnosis, maintenance repair and testing of Electrical assets. Previous use of CAFM and BMS systems would be great.


As Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do, there will be procedures, site specific guidelines/ requirements and regulations to follow such so it is vital that you have a good understand of Health and Safety at Work regulation and previous experience adhering to set engineering standards.

You must be a strong team player with great communication skills who enjoys working as part of a team.

You must also be able to work unsupervised and be able to prioritise work tasks whilst remaining calm under pressure.
