Asbestos Consultant

Guildford

£30,000 - £35,000
The role has the possibility of being based in; Berkshire, Greater London, Hertfordshire, North Hampshire, Surrey, and West Sussex.


Responsibilities

  • Assessing properties for the presence of asbestos.
  • Preparing plans for the surveyed properties.
  • Air monitoring and inspection of asbestos removal operations.
  • Photographing areas of asbestos in the surveyed houses.
  • Working around the UK to visit to client sites as required.
  • Creating survey reports with plans, photographs, and recommendations.
  • Contacting clients onsite or in the office to tell them of any difficulties that have developed.
  • Timely completion of monthly QCs.
  • Relevant P certificates and at least 6 months of proven experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Sufficient IT abilities to efficiently work with surveys.
  • Experience with air testing software.
  • Adequate understanding of applicable health and safety legislation
