Actual salary range:
£24,838 - £26,356


Temporary Maternity Cover

Hours / weeks - 18.5 hours / 36 weeks - Fixed term contract until the end of June 2024


Actual salary range:
£10,140 - £10,760

As a Work Experience Coach, you will deliver an engaging and relevant Work Experience programme to develop employability skills and raise career aspirations.

You will build employer networks to provide quality work placements and work with partner organisations to open up progression opportunities for students.


These roles are based at across our Brunel and Waterfront centres, with travel to other centres as required from time to time.

Due to this and travel to complete employers' visits being a key aspect of the role a driving license and access to a car is beneficial.


Your key responsibilities will be to deliver the Work Experience tutorial framework, secure and plan quality work placements to meet the needs of the qualifications, and drive the work preparation Passport Award programme, to meet the needs of your students' study programmes.


Ideally, you'll have knowledge of engaging employers, working with young people, and developing employability skills; holding an IAG or teaching qualification would be an advantage (or being willing to work towards them).

Proven experience in training/workshop delivery and the development of individual learning plans would be beneficial, but the ability to coach and mentor young people and a track record in driving performance to achieve KPI targets is key to success in this role.

You will be confident at engaging employers and developing partnership working, and have the ability to communicate effectively and build effective working relationships.

Excellent administration and IT skills are essential in the role, as is the desire to provide first class customer service in line with our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence.
