Randstad Education is working with a flourishing and exceptional primary school in Basildon to find a teaching assistant who is eager to work in a learning and fulfilling environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for attending to the needs of the children and helping them, as well as aiding the teachers with their daily tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT:
- Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher
- Working with small groups and 1:
- Using creativity and innovation to improve all children's learning experiences
- Safeguarding children
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress
REQUIREMENTS FROM THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- An Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role).
- Previous experience in schools is preferred.
- Two most recent professional recommendations. (This is essential)
- Adapt to the demands of the students in a professional and courteous manner.
