APD is a forward-looking Enforcement Company who take a modern approach to Civil Enforcement and we are pleased to advertise our vacancy for a Trainee Enforcement Agent to join our team.

This is a full-time position up to 47.5 hours per week (PAYE). Earnings are not restricted and there is a competitive commission scheme in place.


Any background where you deal with people on a face-to-face basis and in difficult situations will be beneficial to this role.

Experience in the following industries can assist in this role:

Military, Police, Prison Services (Prison officer, Prison Custody Officer), Housing/Immigration Officer, Rent Arrears collections agent or Door supervisor (SIA).


Responsibilities

  • You will be required to adhere to Enforcement industry legislation and guidelines (Tribunals Courts & Enforcement Act 2007 and Taking Control of Goods, Commercial Rent Arrears Recovery, The Certification of Enforcement Agents National standard)
  • Attend addresses, as a certificated Enforcement Agent and Take Control of Goods if payment is not forthcoming
  • Negotiate payment arrangements which complies with client and company guidelines
  • Manage your own case loads and ensure visits are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain digital case records: ensuring clear and accurate records of visits and outcomes are recorded, adding updates of all contact made or actions taken, keeping accurate contact details, upload photos from each visit to the case management system
  • Identify vulnerable groups and work within all vulnerable and safeguarding policies and guidelines
  • Service of legal documentation

Personal qualities, experience and skills:

  • CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE AND ACCESS TO A VEHICLE (for training only, a vehicle will be provided once qualified)(essential)
  • Excellent verbal communication (essential)

  • Deal with vulnerable members of the public (essential)
  • Be smart and presentable and a good level of fitness (essential)

This is an opportunity to join a modern, forward-facing team based out of North Wales.

The role offers an excellent basic salary with realistic earnings of approx. £40k to £60k once qualified.
