Job Title:
Supply Chain Coordinator


Location:
Portsmouth Naval Base, We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role


Salary:
Up to £29,500 depending on skills and experience


What you'll be doing:


  • Operating in a buyer capacity
  • Taking full ownership for the entire end to end procurement life cycle, with tasks including:
  • Supplier management
  • Requesting quotes
  • PO orders
  • Order book management
  • Invoicing queries
  • Conducting monthly business reviews with suppliers
  • Managing return plans
  • Owning all orders for all of the ship repair team

Your skills and experiences:


  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Previous experience within procurement, buying, supply chain and or logistics

Desirable:

  • Understanding the whole procurement/buying lifecycle is advantageous

You will oversee the daily acquisition of supplies and subcontracted services, ensuring that export control, pricing, quality, and delivery criteria are met in a manner that is competitive with needs.
