Description

Upholsterer required for a busy furniture manufacturer based in Jarrow. We manufacture a wide range of items including sofas, chairs, chaise longues, ottomans etc. You will be working with a variety of fabrics and leather.

You will be working alongside other upholsterers ensuring that jobs are ready for customer orders on time.

Qualities we look for:

Passion and previous experience with upholstery work
Experience with a variety of fabrics and leather materials
An excellent eye for detail to ensure a quality finish
Positive driven attitude
Ability to work as a team and independently

Working hours
:40 hours per week with fully flexible schedule.

Must have some previous upholstery experience. (Deep buttoning experience an advantage but not essential as we can train this).

The position is permanent and the person would be required to work about 40 hours per week, possibly more based on demand and peak periods.

The rate of pay is based on experience and ability.
