Claims Adjusters required by remote-first and vibrant London Market Insurance organisation.

We have numerous roles to work under the direction of a Team Manager, performing a range of technical checks and processes with a variety of insurance documentationfor different customers and classes of business.

Joining a team of over 120 Claims Adjusters which is one of the largest in the London Market. Training will be provided for all insurance documentation / systems required to perform the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducts technical checks on insurance documentation to ensure accuracy, able to notice discrepancies or errors within the documentation. This includes using specific IT based systems to support the technical adjusting process with some supervision/referralwhere applicable.
Liaise with customers and brokers to resolve queries and issues related to the claims being adjusted
Ownership of multiple claim files working with in an agreed handling authority
Input details into the database to initiate settlement / updates
Complete accurate reporting associated to the claims being adjusted
Provides training to team members and new recruits

Key Requirements:

Insurance professional with previous experience in a Claims Adjuster role (open to industry type)
Computer literate with working knowledge of Outlook and MS Office
Work to a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
Strong organisational, personal and time management skills
Ability to demonstrate strong negotiating and influencing skills
Positive attitude and natural curiosity to identify improvements
You will need to have a good understanding of insurance wordings.
